Pak Fuel Calculator (pakfuel.xyz) is a free, mobile-first web tool that helps Pakistani drivers, taxi and ride-hailing drivers (Careem, inDrive, Bykea, Yango), bike riders and everyday commuters calculate the exact petrol or diesel cost of any trip in PKR.
Our mission
Fuel is the single biggest running cost for most Pakistani households with a vehicle. Our mission is simple: give every driver in Pakistan an honest, ad-free-inside-the-tool way to plan travel budgets, compare trips and make smarter decisions about fuel — without login walls, tracking or dark patterns.
Who runs this site
Pak Fuel Calculator is operated by an independent editorial team based in Pakistan. Our current contributors:
- Ahsan Malik — automotive writer, fuel economy & OGRA policy (since 2019).
- Sara Rehman — personal-finance journalist, cost of living & transport spending.
- Bilal Cheema — mechanical engineer & former workshop supervisor, mileage tuning & fuel quality.
The project is bootstrapped, self-funded and monetised only through non-intrusive ads. We do not take sponsorship from oil marketing companies or automakers, and we do not run affiliate links inside the calculator itself.
How we source and verify prices
Fuel prices quoted on this site are sourced from the fortnightly notifications issued by OGRA (Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority) and cross-checked against the consumer prices published by Pakistan State Oil (PSO). Articles that reference a specific price include the notification date. We refresh price-sensitive content every 1st and 16th of the month when OGRA publishes new rates.
Editorial standards
- Every article carries a named author and a "last updated" date.
- All calculations are transparent — the formula is shown on the homepage.
- Corrections are welcome; email us and we will update the article with a note.
- We do not accept paid placements or "guest posts" that promote products.
