Bikes are the daily driver of urban Pakistan. Even a 5 km/L difference between models adds up to thousands of rupees per year.
70cc segment
Honda CD70: 50–60 km/L when tuned. Ravi Piaggio and Chinese 70cc bikes: 40–50 km/L. Cheaper up front but higher long-term running cost.
100–125cc segment
Suzuki GD110: 40–45 km/L. Honda CG125: 40–45 km/L. Honda Pridor: 45–50 km/L.
150cc and above
Yamaha YBR 125G: 35–40 km/L. Suzuki GS 150: 35–40 km/L. Honda CB 150F: 35–40 km/L.
What kills bike mileage
Under-inflated tyres, low-grade engine oil, clogged air filters and constant redlining. Fix these four and most bikes gain 5–8 km/L within a month.
